Biden will strengthen military support to Ukraine in the last months of his power. Blinken

US President Joe Biden intends to strengthen support for Ukraine before handing over power to Donald Trump. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced this at a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, international media reports.

"President Biden is absolutely committed every day to continuing to strengthen everything we're doing for Ukraine to make sure it can effectively defend itself against this Russian aggression," Blinken said. He also said that sending North Korean troops to help Russia in its war against Ukraine would receive a "harsh response".

In his turn, Rutte noted that the large-scale war in Ukraine has its effect "on the global level". Therefore, Europe needs to increase defense production by the US. "We need to do more in terms of spending, and we need to do more to make sure that Ukraine can win," Rutte said.
