Rublev moved up one place in the ATP rankings

Russian Andrei Rublev rose from ninth to eighth place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website. Last week, Rublev reached the quarterfinals of the tournament in Metz, after which he refused to continue the fight due to suspected injury belly. The leader in the ranking is Italian Jannik Sinner, who guaranteed himself first place at the end of the season. The second place is taken by the German Alexander Zverev, the third - by the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. Serbian Novak Djokovic lost another position and dropped to sixth place. The leader among the Russians remains Daniil Medvedev, who is in fourth place. Karen Khachanov remained in 19th place.
