Roman Berezovsky, the former goalkeeper of the national team of Armenia, believes that "Ararat-Armenia" can record a historic result in the Champions League.
He referred to the victory of the Armenian team over the Slovenian "Tselje". On August 4, "Ararat-Armenia" won 2:1 at the "Republican" stadium in Yerevan.
According to Berezovsky, that victory was an important step, but the return match will be very difficult.
"I think the Yerevan team is capable of reaching the qualification play-off stage and defeating both "Mjellby" and "Slovan". I believe that soon the Armenian club will appear in the main stage of the Champions League for the first time," he said.
If "Ararat-Armenia" reaches the main stage, it will be the first time that an Armenian club will participate in the main tournament of the Champions League.
