Debris of a drone carrying explosives was found on the Black Sea coast of Istanbul, and the suspicious object was destroyed by bomb disposal teams, Hurriyet newspaper reported.
According to the newspaper, local residents found the debris of a suspicious object between the beaches of Arnavutköy and Ormanlı districts and reported it to the authorities.
Units of the Marmara Sea and Straits Coast Guard Command, as well as diving and bomb disposal units, were sent to the scene.
Experts have come to a preliminary conclusion that the debris may belong to a kamikaze attack drone that crashed.
