US Vice President J.D. Vance announced the birth of his son.

"We are delighted to announce the birth of our son Alec Neal Vance this morning," Vance said in a written statement released by X.

The vice president added that his wife and child are doing well and expressed gratitude to the staff of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in suburban Washington.

Vance is becoming a father for the fourth time. He and his wife already have two sons and a daughter.
