Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan and Chairman of the Urban Planning Committee Yeghiazar Vardanyan, got acquainted with the progress of the major repair works of the Kyiv bridge.
The officials of the project presented the implemented works and noted that restoration of the carriageway and pedestrian sections of the bridge, renewal of deformation seams and drainage system, waterproofing works are in progress, bridge flight structures and supports are also being restored.
It was also mentioned that the railings of the bridge will be renewed, the external lighting cables will be laid underground. 456 million drams were allocated from the municipal budget for the implementation of the project.
It was reported that the end of the carriageway of the bridge is scheduled for August 29.
