"Manchester United" will have a new stadium

The English football club "Manchester United" has officially become the owner of the land where the team's new stadium is planned to be built. The site is located approximately 350 meters north-west of the club's current home stadium, Old Trafford.

According to the club, the capacity of the new stadium will be 100,000 seats, which will make it one of the largest stadiums in English football. Manchester United's current home stadium, Old Trafford, was opened back in 1910 and today can accommodate more than 74,000 spectators. Over the decades, it has hosted some of the most important matches in world football, including the 1966 World Cup and the 1996 European Championship, as well as the 2003 Champions League final, where AC Milan defeated Juventus.
