On May 7, Mother See in Holy Etchmiadzin, H.E. Karekin the Second Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians received international lawyer Robert Amsterdam.
During the conversation, reference was made to the campaign unleashed against the Church, the repression and illegal criminal prosecutions against the clergymen and the Armenians who stood up in defense of the Church with false accusations. In this context, the need to ensure legality, international standards of human rights and principles of justice were emphasized.
