By the decision of the government, "Yerevan Electric Transport" CJSC was allowed to use the privilege of exemption from import customs duty within the framework of the investment project implemented in the priority sector.
In order to provide regular transport service to the population of the capital, the company plans to organize the operation of trolleybus routes with 45 newly imported city trolleybuses. Within the scope of the project, it is planned to import 45 YUTONG BUS ZK6128BEVG brand trolleybuses adapted for the disabled, with 25+3 soft seats and the ability to carry no less than 85 passengers, with autonomous running, interior heating and cooling system, which will allow 5 urban transport routes to be equipped with new rolling stock and significantly increase the ground the number of users of quality electric transport services.
The possible development of the trolleybus network will also relieve the burden on some public transport routes, carrying out the safe and secure transportation of the population by environmentally friendly electric transport. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to invest 4.3 billion drams for the purchase of trolleybuses. Currently, there are 245 jobs with an average monthly salary of AMD 375,000. Within the framework of the investment program, it is planned to increase the number of jobs to 280 with an average monthly salary of 391 thousand drams. The value of the goods presented for obtaining the privilege is 4.3 billion drams.
The privilege of exemption from customs duty is estimated at 432 million drams.
