According to the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the evening of May 4 and in the coming days, a significant increase in the water level is expected in the basins of a number of rivers of the republic (Arpa, Yeghegis, Hrazdan, Marmarik, Vedi) due to thunderstorms. Dangerous exits, flooding of coastal areas are possible, especially in the areas of Areni-Yeghegnadzor-Vyk, Hrazdan, Hankavan, Aghavnadzor and Urtsadzor. On the instruction of the Minister of Internal Affairs, awareness-raising activities were organized, the responsible units of the Ministry established contact with partner structures, and the rescue units went into emergency mode.
