Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk described the decision to withdraw 5,000 American soldiers from Germany as a catastrophic trend. Earlier, the Pentagon announced that the US will withdraw 5,000 troops from Germany within six to twelve months.

"The biggest threat to the transatlantic community is not its external enemies, but the continuous disintegration of our alliance.

We must all do everything we can to reverse this disastrous trend," Tusk wrote on the X platform.
