The citizen who filed a report in the Armavir Regional Department of the Criminal Police said that on April 21, an unknown person stole a gold chain and a pendant from his gold jewelry store on Shahumyan Street in Armavir city, causing 2 million 900 thousand AMD material damage.
As a result of the operative and investigative measures undertaken by the criminal police of Armavir region, they found out that the robbery was committed by a 23-year-old resident of Dilijan city. On April 27, he was found in Aygevan village of Armavir region, arrested on suspicion of robbery and transferred to the regional department, where as a result of explanatory work, he confessed to the act and said that he sold the gold jewelry in Vanadzor on the same day.
The 23-year-old resident of Dilijan was presented to the preliminary investigation body, where he gave a confession.
An investigation is underway.
