Iran has managed to maintain a much more significant military capability than Washington publicly states, despite US and Israeli strikes against the Islamic Republic. This was reported by CBS News, referring to US officials familiar with the intelligence.
By the time the ceasefire took effect on April 8, Iran had retained about half of its stockpile of ballistic missiles and their associated launchers, they said. Moreover, the officials noted that while much of Iran's navy was destroyed, about 60% of the IRGC's naval capabilities remained intact, including the fast attack boats and other small vessels that Tehran uses to control the Strait of Hormuz.
Sources of the TV channel noted that the Iranian Air Force was also not completely destroyed. According to them, after the US and Israeli invasion, about two-thirds of Iran's air force is still operational.
