Armenia has two representatives in the Kazakh "Aktobe open" international chess tournament. According to Armenpress, Armenian grandmasters Shant Sargsyan and Manuel Petrosyan are participating in the tournament. Manuel Petrosyan is one of the leaders with two victories after the opening two rounds. Shant Sargsyan has 1.5 points in "Aktobe open", the memorial tournament of Vladimir Dvorkovich, a total of 90 chess players from 22 countries of the world participate. It will conclude on June 2.
