On April 13, the US military will begin a maritime blockade of Iran, blocking all ships bound for the Islamic Republic's ports or attempting to leave its shores, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement.
"CENTCOM forces will begin a blockade of all maritime traffic entering and leaving Iranian ports on April 13 at 10:00 a.m. (5:00 p.m. Moscow time) in accordance with a presidential decree.
The blockade will objectively apply to all ships of all countries entering or leaving Iranian ports or coastal areas," the command said in a statement.
