The Ministry of Digital Development called the information about "white lists" of home Internet in Moscow "false".

This morning, the Mash Telegram channel, which is closely linked to the security forces, reported that Moscow's home internet providers are "urgently implementing a 'whitelist' system".

The Ministry of Digital Development responded that "the information that fixed line Internet providers are going to introduce restrictions on their networks and allow only services from the "white list" is false."

The ministry announced that in response to "security threats" posed by drones, "only mobile internet is being selectively turned off in several regions of Russia." The Ministry of Digital Development stated that "wired technologies" are not related to drones, so "there is no need to restrict them".

Rostelecom also announced that Moscow has no plans to introduce restrictions on home internet.
