US President Donald Trump stated that NATO countries did not have the courage to help the United States ensure the safety of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
"It is very simple. It is a simple military maneuver. It is relatively safe, but it needs a lot of help. In other words, you need ships, you need capacity.
And NATO could have helped us, but they never had the courage to do it. It would be good if other states joined. China uses the strait for 90% of its energy, Japan for 95%," said the head of the White House.
