Iran does not consider it appropriate to hold further negotiations with the United States, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in an interview with PBS. He was asked whether the leadership of Iran contacted US representatives after the election of Mojtaba Khamenei, the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic.
"First of all, it is too early for him to make any statement. We all await his statements and comments, which will be published later.
However, I don't think that the issue of further contacts or negotiations with the Americans will be discussed, because we have a very bitter experience," said the Iranian Foreign Minister.
