Along with the activation of pre-election processes in the political field of Armenia, the Bright Armenia party has also started preparing for the upcoming parliamentary elections. According to "Past" newspaper, the party is preparing to hold an extraordinary congress in April, during which the main political package for participation in the elections will be approved. According to our information, the sixth extraordinary congress of the party will take place on April 11.
It is planned to be held in the "Tigran Mets" hall of the Yerevan "Marriott" hotel at 12:00. The agenda includes two main issues. it is planned to approve the first thirty candidates of the electoral list of the party for the 2026 elections of the National Assembly, as well as to adopt the pre-election program of the party. According to the sources of "Fact", the final composition of the electoral list has been discussed within the party for several weeks.
According to the same sources, not only well-known representatives of the party may appear in the list, but also a number of new and unexpected names. It is planned to form the list in such a way that it includes not only the party active, but also new faces from different public spheres. For that reason, it is not excluded that the list presented during the congress will contain some surprises.
