Iran attacked military facilities in Iraq and Jordan


The German Der Spiegel magazine, citing sources, reports that Iran, in response to the US and Israeli strikes, attacked military facilities in Iraq and Jordan where Bundeswehr soldiers are stationed.


"Iran has also hit military facilities where Bundeswehr soldiers are stationed," the publication wrote.


According to the publication, since Saturday morning, several missiles and drones have been fired at the multinational base near the Erbil airport in northern Iraq and the Al-Azraq field camp in eastern Jordan. The latest launches were recorded on Sunday morning.


According to military sources cited by Der Spiegel, all targets were intercepted by air defense systems. One American soldier was slightly injured by falling debris. There were no casualties among German soldiers.
