The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Abbas Araqchi, during which he emphasized the importance of the successful outcome of the US-Iran negotiations, WAM UAE news agency reports.
"His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasized the vital role of successful US-Iran negotiations in strengthening the foundations of security in the region, meeting the aspirations of its people for continued prosperity and stability, as well as supporting regional and international peace," WAM reported.
Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Badr al-Busaidi, announced that the new round of US-Iran negotiations will take place in Geneva on Thursday.
