Colonel Petros Petrosyan, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, "explorer of four continents", chairman of the RA War and Armed Forces Veterans Committee, died in the 103rd year of his life.
The Russian Embassy in Armenia sent a condolence telegram in this regard.
"Petros Petrosyan, a glorious son of the Armenian people, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a man of legendary destiny, an explorer of four continents, has passed away.
His life is an inseparable part of the heroic history of an entire people, which we are obliged to remember and pass on to the next generations.
We express our sincere condolences to the relatives and friends," the message states.
