Vienna airport has been completely closed due to heavy snow, flights are not possible until 9:00 a.m. (11:00 a.m. Moscow time), airport spokesman Peter Kleman told RIA Novosti.
He noted that due to extreme weather conditions caused by heavy snow in the east of Austria, flights at the Vienna airport are currently impossible. "We are doing everything to resume flights as soon as possible.
According to current estimates, separate flights are possible from 9:00 (11:00 Moscow time), and landings from 10:00 (12:00 Moscow time). However, delays are still possible," he noted.
