Moscow remains ready to contribute to political and diplomatic efforts to reach a settlement on Iran's nuclear issue, said Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"We remain ready to contribute to political and diplomatic efforts to reach a settlement and implement possible agreements.
And we hope that common sense will prevail and the region will not be drawn into another military adventure with devastating consequences," Zakharova said, commenting on the situation surrounding Iran's nuclear program.
