The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, announced that Ukraine received about 4.4 million large-caliber projectiles within the framework of the Czech initiative. According to the Czech Ministry of Defense, in 2024, about 1.5 million bullets were collected and transferred to Ukraine, and in 2025, about 1.8 million bullets. Plans for 2026 have not been officially announced yet.
"The initiative brought about 4.4 million units of large-caliber ammunition to Ukraine.
Last year, their number was almost 2 million," Pavel said in an interview with the Czech publication Odkryto.cz, which was published on Monday.
