The prospects for the development of Sino-American relations depend on the United States, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said.
"Through dialogue and consultation, we seek to find the right way of interaction between the two major powers so that they can establish coexistence on this planet," he said, speaking at the Munich Security Conference.
"And we will continue to follow this path, in the interests of the peoples of both countries, in accordance with the expectations of the international community. However, whether we will be able to achieve this goal ultimately depends on the United States."
Wang Yi clarified that the international situation depends on whether Beijing and Washington will agree.
"Therefore, China approaches its relations with the United States with a sense of responsibility to the world," he added.
