American wrestler and blogger Giorgio Pulas shared his expectations regarding the upcoming wrestling match with Arman Tsarukyan, the number two ranked UFC lightweight. We remind you that the competition will take place on February 28, within the framework of the RAF League freestyle wrestling tournament.
In an interview with MMA Junkie, Pulas praised Tsarukyan's media activism, but questioned his pure wrestling skills.
"Tsarukyan is a huge name at the moment. His team works competently, and he successfully deals with his PR, being at the peak of recognition. That is why I want to compete with him. this is a gift of fate that I could not miss," said the American.
Referring to the sports side, Pulas noted that, despite Tsarukyan's qualities, he considers himself more experienced on the competition mat.
"Arman is a good wrestler, but I have been doing this sport all my life and I have met much stronger competitors than him. After all, he is a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, and wrestling is my thing."
The blogger wrestler also made a bold challenge by offering a money bet.
"Even though Tsarukian did a great job against Lance Palmer, I believe he won't be able to knock me down. Moreover, I am ready to pay $1,000 for each successful takedown," Pulas concluded.
