"Hakan Fidan, who played an important role in mediating efforts to prevent the conflict, told the Financial Times that Washington has made it clear that it is ready to show flexibility on the main demand that Iran completely stop enriching uranium. This condition has long been the main obstacle to the agreement, because Iran, as a party to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, insists on its right to enrich uranium," the newspaper writes.
The head of Turkish diplomacy also stated that "both the United States and Iran appear to be ready to compromise in order to sign a nuclear agreement", but warned that the expansion of negotiations to Tehran's ballistic missile program and persistence in this matter can "only lead to a new war", the newspaper noted.
