Grain supplies to Armenia have become regular. "Russian Railways"


Grain supplies to Armenia by "Russian Railways" have become regular. it is said in the statement published on the Telegram channel of the holding. Sergey Pavlov, the vice-president of the "Russian Railways" company, announced at the final meeting of the board that this route is planned for further development.

Pavlov noted that after the removal of cargo transit restrictions through the territory of Azerbaijan to Armenia, in 2025. in November, after a long pause, the first train loaded with grain left Armenia from Russia.

"The supplies have now become regular. We plan to further develop transport along this route," the statement said.

Previously, the Ministry of Transport of Russia announced that in November 2025, Russia sent the first batch of 15 wagons of grain to Armenia by Azerbaijani railway.

Until at the end of January, it is planned to send another 132 grain railway cars on this route. The deliveries of other categories of goods are also discussed.
