Netanyahu intends to convince Trump about the threat posed by Iran to the Middle East

During the upcoming meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to personally convince US President Donald Trump through intelligence data that Iran is a threat not only to the Jewish state, but also, allegedly, to the entire Middle East and even Europe. This was reported by the Al-Monitor portal, referring to Israeli sources.

"It is important for the president to hear everything first hand," said one of the advisors of the Prime Minister of Israel.

According to him, Netanyahu hopes to include the issue of Iran's ballistic missile program in the negotiation agenda between Washington and Tehran, as well as the issue of pro-Iranian groups operating in certain countries of the Middle East. "Netanyahu will explain everything to the president so that he understands that reaching an agreement with Iran is not possible without the settlement of the issue of ballistic missiles," the source added.

According to Al-Monitor, Israeli officials are also concerned about the influence of the US President's special representative, Stephen Wittkoff, on the decision-making process in the White House, as he distances supporters of striking Iran from Trump.
