US President Donald Trump has stated that he is against Israel's actions aimed at expanding control over the West Bank of the Jordan River, he said this in an interview with the Axios news platform.
"I'm against annexation," Trump said, adding that, aside from the West Bank, "there are quite a few things to think about right now."
Earlier, Axios, citing US officials, reported that Washington is concerned about the decision by Israel's security cabinet to significantly expand control over the West Bank, including the areas under the control of the Palestinian Authority.
