Iran's Foreign Ministry announced the preparation of a proposal for a possible agreement with the United States

Iran is working on a proposal that would guarantee the country's right to peaceful uses of atomic energy, but would not provide for the presence of nuclear weapons. This was announced by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

"I have already instructed my team to work on a feasible plan or proposal that can guarantee that Iran will not have nuclear weapons and, at the same time, guarantee Iran's right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes in the fields of electricity production, medicine production and agriculture," the minister said in an interview with RT channel.

At the same time, he emphasized that Iran still does not fully trust the United States after the strikes against the background of the 2025 negotiations, and wants to make sure that such a situation does not happen again.
