Trump has claimed half of the ownership of the bridge between the US and Canada

US President Donald Trump has announced that he will not allow the opening of the bridge connecting Ontario with the state of Michigan until Canada transfers to Washington at least half of the ownership of the facility.

"I will not allow this bridge to open until the United States receives full compensation for what we have given them, and until Canada begins to treat the United States with the fairness and respect we deserve. We will start negotiations immediately. Considering everything we gave them, we should own at least half of this asset," the American leader wrote on the Truth Social social network.

He emphasized that former US President Barack Obama is to blame for the problem, who "recklessly gave up rights so that they could bypass the law and not use any American products, including steel."
