During the meeting with Vance in Armenia, the issue of customs duties will be discussed, the minister announced

During the planned meeting with US Vice President J.D. Vance, the Armenian authorities will discuss the issues related to the increase of customs duties on American imports for the countries doing trade with Iran, announced the Minister of Economy of the Republic Gevorg Papoyan.

Earlier, the US State Department announced that Vance will pay an official visit to Armenia on February 9-10.

"Of course, that issue will be discussed. Armenia's exports to the USA in 2025 amounted to 50 million dollars. If customs duties increase from the current 10 percent to 25 percent, that product will lose its competitiveness," the minister said, answering the relevant question of the journalist.
