Iran's foreign minister called for sanctions against Israel

The issue of Israel's aggression towards Palestine is of strategic importance for the future of the entire Middle East, and sanctions should be applied to Tel Aviv, stated Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

"The issue of Palestine has a strategic nature and concerns the future of the region (Middle East) and the rules operating on the world level.

We call for the implementation of comprehensive, targeted sanctions against Israel, including the direct embargo on arms supplies, the suspension of military and intelligence cooperation, the implementation of restrictions on government officials and the ban on trade transactions," the minister said in his speech, participating in the 17th forum of the Al-Jazeera research center, "The Palestinian issue and the balance of regional power in the context of the emerging multi-civilized world."
