Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that those who attempt to disrupt the peace process in Syria will be punished. Erdogan stressed that all steps contributing to the peace, stability and territorial integrity of Syria are reasonable and acceptable for Ankara.
He emphasized the importance of resolving the situation in the north of the country without bloodshed, based on the principle of "One army, one state, one Syria", warning that any attempt to disrupt this process "will have consequences".
Erdogan also announced a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia and Egypt, where he will discuss bilateral relations, security and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, as well as ways to prevent "further escalation of the crisis" over Iran.
