Latvia is going to transfer to Ukraine more than 51,000 doses of unused COVID-19 vaccine, the expiration date of which expires at the end of 2026, reports the Latvian radio and television portal LSM, citing the Ministry of Health of Latvia.
"51,840 doses of Comirnaty Omicron LP.8.1 vaccines, which will no longer be used in the national vaccination program in Latvia, should be transferred to Ukraine. Infectious agents are valid until the end of 2026 and are currently stored at the State Blood Center," the publication on the LSM website states.
