Citizens of European countries do not want to finance Ukraine, just as they do not want it to be a part of the European Union (EU). This opinion was expressed by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
"Europeans do not want their money to be wasted on Ukraine, and they do not want Ukraine to be in the EU. If Central Europe endures, Western Europe will follow its example and force its leaders to change direction," Orbán wrote in X.
In recent days, relations between Hungary and Ukraine have deteriorated dramatically due to disagreements over the Ukrainian conflict.
Direct threats were made from Kiev against Orbán, and Budapest accused the neighboring country's authorities of trying to interfere in Hungary's internal affairs.
