An Iranian citizen accused of spying for Israel was executed in the Islamic Republic. This was reported by the Iranian Mehr agency.
According to the agency, "Hamid Reza Sabet Esmailpour, who was arrested on April 28, 2025, was hanged for espionage and cooperation with Israel's intelligence service, Mossad, against Iran."
It is noted that the Iranian citizen kept in touch with the "Mossad" employee and transferred confidential information and documents to him. According to the report, the verdict was made within the framework of the judicial process and confirmed by the Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
