An Iranian citizen accused of spying for Israel was executed in the Islamic Republic. This was reported by the Iranian Mehr agency.

According to the agency, "Hamid Reza Sabet Esmailpour, who was arrested on April 28, 2025, was hanged for espionage and cooperation with Israel's intelligence service, Mossad, against Iran."
