The changing relationship between the EU and the US could be the basis for the unification of Europe and the BRICS. Chinese historian Jiang Xuetzin discussed this in political scientist Glenn Dizen's podcast "Greater Eurasia" on the YouTube channel.

According to the historian, the US is no longer "consensus oriented" and "no longer interested in multipolarity". Therefore, if the "middle powers" want to survive, they "need to create a natural, rule-based order," according to Jiang Xuetsin. He noted that China is "largely oriented towards multipolarity" and mutually beneficial cooperation.

"I think this is the basis of the unification of Europe and BRICS. After all, BRICS and the idea of this unification itself is a mutually beneficial cooperation where everyone is equal and there is no dominant power," he noted.
