The Prime Minister of Japan called the DPRK a nuclear power

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaiti, commenting on the rapprochement between China, Russia and the DPRK, stated that all three countries are nuclear powers, despite the fact that official Tokyo does not recognize North Korea as a nuclear weapons state.

Speaking on TV Asahi channel, Takaiti noted that relations between Beijing, Moscow and Pyongyang are getting closer.

"All of them are nuclear states," added the prime minister. Earlier, the Japanese government has repeatedly stated that it does not recognize the DPRK as a nuclear power.
