US security guarantees to Ukraine are ready. Zelensky

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the US security guarantees for his country are fully agreed. "The document is 100% ready, and we are waiting for our partners to confirm the date and place of its signing," he said on January 25 at a press conference held in Vilnius after a meeting with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda. The document on security guarantees will then be sent to the US Congress and Verkhovna Rada for ratification, added the President of Ukraine.

Zelensky also noted that "a 20-point program and problematic issues" were discussed at the tripartite talks in Abu Dhabi, and emphasized that Ukraine's position on the Donbas issue has not changed.

In turn, the Lithuanian president accused Russia of avoiding its commitment to achieve a stable and just peace in Ukraine.

At the same time, he expressed confidence that Ukraine will become a member of the European Union by 2030. Ukraine's accession to the EU is a strategic interest of Lithuania, as well as a step towards stability in the entire region, stressed President Nauseda.
