India intends to discuss with the foreign ministers of the Arab countries the plans of the US President Donald Trump to create a "peace council" on Gaza, reports the Economic Times newspaper, citing sources.

Earlier, Trump announced the formation of a "peace council" for Gaza. The administration of the US president has sent invitations to about 50 heads of state to participate in its work.

In particular, an invitation to join the council was also sent to India, but New Delhi has not yet given an official response to that proposal.
