Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva believes that US President Donald Trump wants to create a "new" United Nations for "private ownership".
"President Trump proposes to create a new United Nations, of which he will be the sole owner," reports the Reuters agency, citing the words of the Brazilian leader. Trump had earlier announced the formation of the "Peace Council" for Gaza.
The administration of the US leader has sent invitations to about 60 heads of state to participate in the work of the council, and for several days the heads of these countries have publicly announced that they have received President Trump's proposals.
