Turkey follows the negotiations between Russia, the USA and Ukraine in the Arab Emirates and hopes for their effectiveness, a Turkish diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.

The first session of the tripartite working group of Russia, the United States and Ukraine on security issues was held in Abu Dhabi on Friday, and its continuation is planned for Saturday.

Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the President of Russia, said that the group includes representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, led by the head of the General Staff, Admiral Igor Kostyukov.
