US Vice President JD Vance plans to visit Azerbaijan and Armenia in February. US President Donald Trump announced this on the Truth Social social network.
He noted that he is grateful to the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan, for maintaining the terms of the peace agreement signed by them in the summer of 2025.
"In February, Vice President Vance will visit two countries in order to continue our peacemaking efforts and contribute to the implementation of the Trump Roadmap for International Peace and Prosperity," the American leader noted.
He also added that the United States plans to conclude a cooperation agreement in the field of peaceful atomic energy with Armenia, as well as to sign agreements with Azerbaijan on the supply of semiconductors and military products, including body armor and boats.
