US President Donald Trump's special representative Steven Wittkoff described his negotiations with the Russian President's special representative Kirill Dmitriev and the US President's son-in-law Jared Kushner at the Davos Forum as "very positive", RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
"They were very positive," Wittkoff said after the talks.
Earlier, Dmitriev noted that the attempt to make Ukraine the main topic at the Davos Forum failed. A day ago, it was announced that President Donald Trump does not want to hold talks with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky at the upcoming Davos forum. Later, Zelensky announced that he would not participate in the forum and would remain in Ukraine to coordinate the restoration of the country's energy sector after the overnight attack.
