US President Donald Trump has invited the leaders of 58 countries to join the "Gaza Peace Council", an American official told Axios.
According to the source of the portal, Trump will probably contrast the activities of the "Peace Council" with the work of the United Nations during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
"I doubt that he will conclude that he is an opponent of the United Nations. But you never know what to expect from Donald Trump's speech until he says it," the official explained.
Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian leader, said earlier that Russian President Vladimir Putin has received an invitation to join the "Peace Council" and that this possibility is being studied.
