Moldova has started the process of canceling the main agreements signed with the CIS, which will allow it to leave the organization. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popshoi announced this on Radio Moldova.
"Moldova will leave the CIS after the cancellation of the main agreements on joining the Commonwealth," according to "RIA Novosti", the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Mikhail Popshoi, announced this.
The official noted that the relevant documents will be submitted to the parliament of the republic for final approval.
It should be noted that Moldova has been a member of the CIS since 1994.
