Ankara hopes that the Iranian government will resolve the current crisis through dialogue and diplomacy. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced this after the cabinet meeting.

"We believe that our Iranian brothers will overcome this period full of traps. Turkey has maintained a principled position from the beginning. In our opinion, the solution to Iran's problems should be found at the negotiation table," the Turkish leader emphasized.

He explained that Ankara calls on all interested parties to engage in diplomacy. According to Erdogan, Turkey will continue to oppose any attempt that could throw the region into chaos.
